Knut Helle

Knut Helle (born 19 December 1930) is a Norwegian historian.
He graduated with the cand.philol. from the University of Bergen. He worked as an associate professor (førsteamanuensis) in medieval history at same university from 1963, and then as a professor from 1973 to 2001. He is currently a professor emeritus there.
