KNUV is a Spanish-language talk radio station broadcasting out of Phoenix, Arizona. It is owned by New Radio Venture and shares some programming with NRV's only other station, KNRV in Denver.

[edit] History

KNUV was most recently KMYL as "NBC 1190", an infomercial and brokered talk station which ran NBC Radio News. The format was changed when the station was acquired by startup Spanish-language. Previously, KMYL aired Music of Your Life. The station operated as "Cards Country" KRDS prior to the nostalgia format.[1]

KNUV was recently granted an increase for its nighttime power from 250 to 400 watts. KNUV's transmitter is located south of I-10 in Tolleson, west of downtown Phoenix.
