The Knocking Sand Frog (Tomopterna krugerensis) is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is found in Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe. Its natural habitats are dry savanna, moist savanna, subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, intermittent freshwater lakes, intermittent freshwater marshes, arable land, pastureland, and ponds.
