[edit] History

The first meeting was held on September 29, 2006, at St. Mary of Pine Bluff Parish church in the town of Cross Plains, about fourteen miles from Madison, within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Madison. Its founder was Fr. Rick Heilman, pastor of St. Mary's Parish. [2] The group's motto is Deo Submissus, in Deo Potens (The one who has submitted to God, is powerful in God). [3]The group's monthly meetings begin with an opportunity for Confession and Eucharistic Adoration, followed by the recitation of the Divine Mercy chaplet. In the first knighting ceremony, conducted April 15, 2007, Fr. Heilman inducted 85 men. [4]
