The insignia of a Knight Bachelor. The insignia was devised in 1926 and is described as:
Upon an oval medallion of vermilion, enclosed by a scroll a cross-hilted sword belted and sheathed, pommel upwards, between two spurs, rowels upwards, the whole set about with the sword belt, all gilt
This image was created by Eva db on 2 May 2006. I drew it myself using available reference books as guides. I then made it bolder with a marker and tweaked it some with the computer. It is hereby released into the Public Domain.
