[edit] New subcategory

It should be easier for readers to navigate the category now. I've created and populated a subcategory Medieval Knights Templar that cross-references to Category:Medieval warfare. Durova 19:38, 11 March 2006 (UTC)

Um, were you aware that there's an elaborate discussion going on about renaming, including an RfC? I'm not saying that your change here is a bad one, but it looks like you unilaterally decided to make some controversial changes without getting consensus. The general way that things were going, is that "Knights Templar" should refer to the medieval order, not the freemason degree.
At the risk of tangling things further, it is my recommendation that we make another category for Category:Masonic Knights Templar, move all appropriate articles to that one, and basically empty this one. That'll make it a disambiguation category to watch for articles that are being linked in an ambiguous manner, and we can fix the categories appropriately.
I also strongly encourage you to at least introduce yourself at Talk:Knights Templar (military order), and participate in the RfC there about further name changes. --Elonka 20:29, 11 March 2006 (UTC)
