The station went on the air as KZBO on 1989-02-26. On 1990-02-26, the station changed it's call sign to KUUS. On 1993-04-01 to KMAY. On 1997-10-24 to the current KMZK. On 2006-06-27 to DKMZK. On 2007-01-31 to the current KMZK.[2]
