Thanks for your note. I won't miss the article- it's just an advert as you say. There are no 3rd party sources. There's a tendency towards A&F-cruft that gets absurd. -Will Beback · † · 10:50, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
Just a friendly reminder to use an edit summary when proposing deletion for an article. Edit summary usage is always good, but it is especially important that edit summaries are used when proposing deletion. The reason for this is that articles proposed for deletion that later have the {{prod}} tag removed should not be proposed for deletion again, but rather sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. The only easy way to check if an article was previously proposed for deletion is to look at the edit history and the edit summaries people have left before. Thanks! [edit] Talk pages
The information you asked about is here, Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. -Will Beback · † · 20:16, 11 April 2007 (UTC)
- Admins and others editors occasionally remove off-topic comments. It isn't specifically allowed, but if a comment really isn't relevant then no one complains. But editing comments, or removing relevant ones, does draw criticism. I dropped a note on the tlak page ofthe editor in question because a relevant, good-faith comment was removed along with the irrelevant ones. -Will Beback · † · 07:31, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
- PS: Here's a good example of the deletion of a random query that has nothing to do with the article.[1] -Will Beback · † · 22:19, 14 April 2007 (UTC)
