Klov

Klov (Ukrainian: Клов) is a historical neighbourhood in the Ukrainian capital Kiev (Kyiv). Nowadays Klov is located in the administrative Pecherskiy Raion (district). Klovskiy monastery was built in this area in XI century. It was destroyed in 1240 by Batu Khan's army. The main streets of this neighbourhood are Mechnikova Vulytsia and Klovsky Uzviz. Klovska metro station is situated in Klov.
