Babel

As per a comment left by you on My User Talk Page I added tlh-1 in a Babel box. In order to add more languages, you need to do the following..

{{babel-1|tlh-1}} {{babel-2|tlh-1|en}} {{babel-3|tlh-1|en|fr-2}}

Those are three seperate examples of different boxes. I suggest referring to WP:BBL

I hope I was of some help. :-)

Wikimedia Canada

Hi there! I'd like to invite you to explore Wikimedia Canada, and create a list of people interested in forming a local chapter for our nation. A local chapter will help promote and improve the organization, within our great nation. We'd also like to encourage everyone to suggest projects for our national chapter to participate in. Hope to see you there!--DarkEvil 17:11, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

Brogo on AfD

Hi, I've nominated your Brogo article for deletion at Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Brogo. I don't belive it is notable enough for an encyclopedia article. -- Dragonfiend 23:18, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

Raising Chickens wikibook

Hi,

Over on wikibook Raising_Chickens you mention feeding potato peeland mouldy buns. Potato peel is hard for them to digest. Mouldy food can poison them. See appropriate websites: http://www.google.com/search?q=%2Bchickens+%22potato+peel%22 and books such as 'Storey's Guide to Raising Chickens' by Gail Damerow.

Borderline (band)

This band is rising in the Vancouver music scene. Also sine the lead vocalist is also a popular Canadian actress it is of significance. True enough this article should be a stub until more information can be added.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Klingoncowboy4 (talkcontribs) 02:11, 22 August 2006

  • Don't forget, you need to add {{hangon}} to this article pretty quick if you intend to keep working on it to bring it up to standards. --Satori Son 06:33, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

RfA listing

Hi, I've removing your self-nom RfA from Wikipedia:Requests for adminship as you haven't answered the questions yet, and your confusing signature suggests it's not a self-nom. Please state it's a self-nom before relisting. Thanks. Andeh 02:58, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

User:PseudoSudo appears to have relisted it for you. Andeh 02:59, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Nope, I've removed the entry again per Andeh's post above. kc4: as he suggests, clarify that you are nominating yourself, answer the questions, and then relist on the main page. ~ PseudoSudo 03:04, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
I've given you weak support, but I agree with other editors, you seriously should withdraw your nomination and try again later. Mostly Rainy 11:25, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

Hi Iain, I have closed your RfA as it was getting very one-sided and nothing new was being added by those opposing you. As consensus had been decided upon, there was no point in the poll snowballing any further. I hope you are not too disappointed by this outcome and continue contributing to Wikipedia, if you follow the advice given to you by other editors I am sure you will become a valuable admin in the future. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. Yours, Rje 12:40, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

WikiProject Heraldry and vexillology

Since you are interested in flags and emblems I would like to inform you that the WikiProject Heraldry and vexillology has just been created. Why not take a look? I hope you can join. Inge 19:17, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Hi

Welcome to the Opera Project: thanks for joining. Thank also for your work on opera. Size limits aren't at all strict on WP, so I don't think there is need for panic about the article's size. I've written about 9 new paragraphs since July, and plan to get the article up to WP:GA standard. IMO, the plan is to let the article grow for a bit, get it balanced, and then cut it down to size. Thanks for all the help thus far. My idea from now was to add a "Criticism" section, and a "Current worldwide operatic scene" (or something like that: in the current incarnation one would rather think opera had died out in the 60s). I don't suppose that you could help out with either (or both) of these two? Give me a shout. Best, Moreschi 15:09, 23 September 2006 (UTC)

Barnstar

The Original Barnstar
For contributing so much to Wikipedia without getting much back. Here's to you. Sharkface217 23:05, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

The Barnstar idea is a great one, but I do not believe it is implimented correctly. There are a select few Wikipedians who have many Barnstars (upwards of 5 or so) who do rightly deserve it while at the same time there are many, many more who have done as much or even more work and have recieved litte or no recognition.

The Barnstars I hand out in no way diminish from their original value and intent; for most I award, they are first-time Barnstar-earners. Sharkface217 23:11, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Server (computing) subtile vandalism

The user: Special:Contributions/209.161.234.118 is making subtile link change, for example on the server (computing) page he changed IBM Sun, etc servers links to Fiber-host.com link on the External links section, without renaming the visible link label(hence the use of 'subtile' adjective). When i checked his contributions, I found out he did the same shit on another page, please if you know some admin, let them know, this guy should really be warned.!!!!--SamiKaero 12:43, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

Request for your opinion

Hey there. As the founder of Wikiproject Web Animation I was wondering if you would have an opinion to share on the deletion nomination for Knox's upcoming film. Vote what you think is right (there are some good arguments pro and con) - I'm simply concerned that there aren't very many people on there making the decision. Esn 21:28, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Chilly Beach

Hi...when you add an infobox to a television series airing on the CBC, could you please link to CBC Television as the network rather than just CBC? "CBC" alone is a disambiguation page listing numerous meanings of the word; we have to specifically link to CBC Television when we mean the TV network, CBC Radio One or CBC Radio Two when we mean the radio networks, or Canadian Broadcasting Corporation when we mean the corporation as a whole. Thanks. Bearcat 07:53, 28 November 2006 (UTC)

Ed Stelmach

Hello KC4. In the Premiers of Alberta box you added to the article, you should put next to Stelmach's name (Designate). The new Alberta PC Leader, has yet to become Premier of Alberta. Ralph Klein is still Premier until Ed Stelmach assumes the premiership. GoodDay 18:04, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi. The changes you made produced errors. I've reverted in the mean time. Perhaps you could try to fix the issue if you wish to add the new features. Thanks Mark83 21:39, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

Re: Spam warning

The reason I did that was because the page has a commercial link on it. I think it'd be best if that link was deleted, as it has no significance to the content of the page. Nwwaew (Talk Page) (Contribs) (E-mail me) 03:56, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

AfD nomination of My Opera Community

An editor has nominated My Opera Community, an article on which you have worked or that you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also "What Wikipedia is not"). Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/My Opera Community and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate. Thank you. Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it.
