Kleinwallstadt is a municipality im in the lower Franconian district of Miltenberg.

Kleinwallstadt is located near the border to Hesse and Baden-Würtemberg, and about 20 km south of Aschaffenburg

In the year 1803 the bailiwick Kleinwallstadt, which was a part of Kurmainz, was taken over by the new princedom Aschaffenburg, which then belongs to Bavaria since 1814.

Under archbishop Johann Schweikhard von Kronberg 84 'Witches' were executed in 1611 in Kleinwallstadt.

In 1970 Kleinwallstadt had a population of 4,778, in 1987 it had 4,876 and in 2000 Kleinwallstadt had a population of 5,650.

The Mayer of Kleinwallstadt is Thomas Köhler (CSU). He was elected in 2002 as follower of Karl Heinz Bein (SPD).
