Klegg Electronics, Inc. (Pink Sheets: KLGG) is a Las Vegas, NV based manufacturer and distributor of electronics products for business and consumers. Klegg’s goal is to create products that work together seamlessly, providing consumers with full control over their media content, while providing ease of use. To that end Klegg has acquired various technologies and made several strategic partnerships with other companies to help achieve this vision.

  • Klegg has acquired the license to a patented technology that allows speakers to listen to itself and make equalization adjustments according to the room environment. Utilizing a built in microphone each speaker will analyze the sound it is giving off and depending on the feedback it receives will adjust the music to fit the environment.
  • Additionally Klegg has the license to a patented wireless technology that allows both an 802.11 internet-wireless chip and a Bluetooth chip to co-operate on the same circuit board. This allows for the use of both radios simultaneously without interference from each other. The configuration saves space and cost.
  • Klegg joined the Microsoft Partner Program with a specific focus on developing Microsoft XP Embedded Technology into Klegg products. Microsoft XP Embedded technology will allow Klegg products to stream audio and video easily over Ethernet and wireless home networks from a Media Center PC to any number of TVs, Radios, and other devices
  • Klegg has developed a partnership with Ximeta to incorporate NDAS technology into Klegg’s next generation of products. NDAS will allow data to be stored in a central location in the home, making it easily accessible to all wired and wireless devices. NDAS increases network performance speed by up to 50% and also provides a secure storage solution by using a proprietary access protocol.

In 2001, the Klegg Brand was created by Klegg Audio Europe to develop and market high-end audio products worldwide. In 2003, Klegg Electronics U.S. entered into a licensing relationship with Klegg Audio Europe and became the exclusive distributor of Klegg products in North and South America.

In 2005, Klegg Electronics US purchased the Klegg brand from Klegg Audio Europe and became the exclusive worldwide manufacturer and distributor of all Klegg products. Klegg Electronics has expanded its product line from the original audio products to include flat panel TVs, media servers, the NetDisk network storage drive, portable media players, mp3 players, and GPS navigation systems. Klegg’s commercial products include digital signage and enterprise storage solutions. Klegg is headquartered in Las Vegas, NV with manufacturing facilities in China and R&D facilities in Fremont, CA.

Klegg Electronics focuses on two business areas: Consumer Electronics and Commercial Media.

The Klegg Commercial Media line of digital signage displays alleviates the need for a media player PC to be linked to the display to control the digital content; content updates can be sent via the internet. Unlike other solutions, Klegg Signage Displays can be fully controlled (Input, On\Off, Volume, Brightness) remotely through the internet. Klegg digital signage displays also can incorporate 802.11 Wi-Fi functionality.

Klegg also provides Media Servers designed to provide reliable content management for a digital signage network.
