Klan (eng. Clan) is the longest-running Polish soap opera, one of the first to come into creation. It has been filmed since 1997 and is still running with over 1400 episodes. Now the 11th season is aired from Monday to Friday on TVP1 at 5.30 PM (Polish time).
Klan describes the fate of the Lubicz family. Although the soap opera is quite old, it is still popular. Episodes tend to last around 23 minutes.

The oldest generation
- Maria Lubicz - late Lubiczs' matron, mother of five children. She owned a pharmacy.
- Władysław Lubicz - Maria's husband. Some years before death he fell ill with alzheimer.
- Stefan Ziętecki - Maria's young brother. He is a laywer.
- Janina Kochańska - Ziętecka - Stefan's deceased wife. She was Maria's best friend. Janina led a women's shelter.
Lubicz Seniors' Children and their families
- Elżbieta Chojnicka - Maria and Władysław's oldest daugter. She lives at home in Sadyba and owns an inherited pharmacy.
- Jerzy Chojnicki - Elżbieta's ex-husband. He was a partner. He had romances with many women. Eventually he divorced with Ela.
- Beata Borecka - Chojniccys' daughter - she owns a cosmetics company.
- Jacek Borecki - Beata's husband. He has a position in a big bank. He is often jealous of Beata. He also betrayed his wife
- Michał Chojnicki - Beata's young brother. He wants to be a footballer.
- Paweł Lubicz - Elżbieta's twin-brother. He is a doctor and participator of clinic.
- Krystyna Lubicz - Paweł's wife. She works as a lecturer at Warsaw Uniwersity. She is also an interpreter.
- Agnieszka Lubicz - Paweł and Krystyna's daugter. She is a journalist.
- Ola Lubicz - Agnieszka's young sister. She studies sociology.
- Monika Ross - Maria's and Władysław's younger daugter.
- Daniel Ross - Monika's son. He has HIV. Daniel studies psychology. He lives in London with his girlfriend.
- Ryszard Lubicz - second Lubicz Seniors' son and their fourth child. He is a taxidriver.
- Grażyna Lubicz - Ryszard's wife. She works as a nurse in Pawel's clinic.
- Bożena Lubicz - Ryszard and Grażyna's adoptive daughter.
- Maciek Lubicz - Lubiczs' adoptive son. His biological mother Ewa (Ryszard and Grażyna's friend and neighbour) died many years ago.
