KLAX-TV is the ABC affiliate in Alexandria, Louisiana. Its transmitter is located near Dry Prong. It operates on UHF channel 31, with a construction permit for a digital signal on Channel 32. Programs consist of first-run ABC shows, sports, local news produced by the Davenport, Iowa-based Independent News Network, and a few first-run syndicated shows.

KLAX-TV was launched on March 3, 1983 originally as an Independant station. 2 years later, KLAX-TV became the community's ABC affiliate with the first program being Monday Night Football. Prior to that, ABC was seen on a secondary basis via NBC affiliate KALB-TV.
