KLAQ (95.5 FM), known as "The Q 95.5", is a Rock music radio station based in El Paso, Texas. The station is under ownership of Regent Communications.
KLAQ began operations in 1978, replacing El Paso's previous rock station, KPAS 94FM (93.9), which changed formats in late-1978.
KLAQ is the largest radio station in El Paso audience wise and is generally known as a promoter and catalyst of the largest events and entertainment in El Paso.[citation needed]
