[edit] Your reference desk question
I have removed your question from the reference desk. The reference desk is a place to ask other editors of the encyclopedia for information about specific questions. It is not a place to discuss or argue about racist remarks in cricket. JBKramer 19:16, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sign your posts
Please sign your posts with 4 tildes ~.Your inquiry about sexual partners was signed with only 2 tildes. Edison 22:48, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Reference desk
FYI, the reference desks are not good places to ask questions that call for an opinion. This is an encyclopedia, not a debate forum. Friday (talk) 20:54, 4 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Question removed
This doesn't look like a serious reference desk question. I see this isn't the first time. Please don't do that. Friday (talk) 22:23, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Please don't chat
Please don't use the reference desk as a chat board. Wikipedia is not a message board. Thanks. Friday (talk) 20:35, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Inflammatory remarks
Posting a "question" at the reference desk with such a heading is inflammatory. This is not a forum. This inapprorpriate use of the reference desk has been pointed out to you before, with no noticable results. Thus, I am blocking you for 24 hours. If you want to ask serious questions, you're welcome, but if you're hear to stir up trouble you're in the wrong place. Friday (talk) 18:51, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Reference Desk
The reference desk is not a forum. Stop using it as such. Hipocrite - «Talk» 18:16, 13 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Final Warning
This is your final warning. Wikipedia is not a place for you to publish your opinions on culture and religion. If you do not stop, you will be blocked from doing so. Hipocrite - «Talk» 17:51, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] British Racist attitude
I removed the following question because it is written in the form of a rant.
- The racist mentality of the british is clearly reflected in the new immigration rules. The culture of the west is simply being dumped amongst the poor Asian countries.
- The Asians have to retaliate and protest such incompatibility in todays age of globalisation and freedom. Such double standards cant be tolerated. Spirituality and faith is the best way to counter such attitudes.
- Can anyone explain such idiotic attitudes of the west? and elucidate such incompatibility in coexisting !!! 18:33, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Can you rewrite it so it is less provocative? Thanks David D. (Talk) 18:39, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Its not provocative! The question is in clear crystal lucid transparent english which is understood by the world. My question is that why the hell is the west trying to dominate in every sphere of life of the common man. At first all the illegals are kicked out by stripping them of their employment oppurtunities. The newly enacted immigration rules are extremely stringent in terms of not letting the indians and majority of the Asian workforce work overseas particularly the UK. 19:53, 5 January 2007 (UTC)~~
[edit] Your opinions on culture and religion.
My opinions about culture and religion cant be simply removed. When they have a meaning and an underlying theme irrespective of the fact that it goes against the western interests, this is an act of complete violation of democracy where a person's freedom of expression is curtailed.15:49, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- You are not permitted to add such to the Reference Desks. Further addition of your own personal soapboxing to the Reference Desks will result in sanctions. Hipocrite - «Talk» 18:47, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia is an encyclopedia
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. If chat is what you're after, you might want to try a forum instead- there are websites meant for chatting and/or debate, but Wikipedia is not one of them. Friday (talk) 22:59, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hey KJ
Just a heads up -- any more dubious questions to the Reference Desk and you'll absolutely be banned. I myself am all for mischief and mayhem, so this isn't a warning, it's an attempt to get you to stick around. It's kind of hard to do that when you'll looking at a month-long ban. Thanks for listening! :)
PS if you want to defend your good name, you can do so here. Vranak 23:42, 9 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Blocked
I have blocked you indefinitely, since you've given no indication that you're here for anything other than soapboxing. Wikipedia is not a place to promote your opinions. If you wish to contribute usefully to the encyclopedia, I would consider unblocking, but so far you've made no useful edits of any kind. Friday (talk) 22:06, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
On what basis did u arrive at such a lousy conclusion. Every article of mine effectively reveals the Double standard attitude of the west. No one is a slave of freedom. Freedom is the right to express ones thoughts. In this instance every article of mine had a comment which at some points of time was ridiculous and agasinst the western interests. Today u have blocked one user tomorrow another person will raise his voice What right do u have to block other persons freedom of expression. I wrote a few articles which ridiculed the western democracy and the promiscous sexual lives of the western folks. And the west is not taking the same in the right attitude and spirit. Besides that the west doesnt have the right to pinpoint the way the other societies function regardless of their despicable state.
This is preposterous. 05:38, 13 January 2007 (UTC)~~
- You wrote articles? I can't see them, so if you did, they were deleted. All I saw were edits to the reference desk. If you're here to contribute encyclopedia articles, you can certainly do so. If you're here to promote your own opinions, please see What Wikipedia is not. Friday (talk) 05:41, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
