Kanwaljit Singh is a Poet,freelance Media person, Photo artist and contributes to various Magazines articals on various issues He is basically an Electronics Engineer teaching at Guru Nanak Dev Engg. College, Ludhiana in Punjab. Born in 1964 at Dhudike, Moga,Punjab, He is Winner of "Punjab State Lalit Kala Award" Kanwaljit is a dedicated photo artist working with his resources to promote Punjabi Heritage, Nature and Beautiful Moments of Life through aesthetic photography. His main interests are the people and their environment and he has produced nice compositions in Still Life and Experimental photography also which have fetched him accolades in various photo competitions and publications. He has given many lectures, talks and slide shows presentations on the invitations of various colleges, photo organizations and universities. He is Life Member of IIPC and FIP in India. His work is in permanent collection of Ludhiana Secretariat and various government & private collections across the Globe. He has held solo photo shows "FROZEN FRAMES" Ludhiana(1997), Chandigarh(1998), "NACHAN KUDAN MAN KA CHAO"(1999), "MERI DHARTI MERE LOK " (My Land & My People) -at Toronto, Vancouver and Surrey( 2000) He is pioneer in Poetry based slideshows, which have been well received by art and literary circle. His book in Punjabi Poetry "Bina Patey Wala Khat" (1997) was appreciated by critics and readers. He is a newsreader with Jalandhar Doordarshan (Since 1989), Newsreader with Canada based Punjabi Radio Stations.
