Kurt John Genetia (born December 18, 1992) is a Pinoy achiever. He is notable for playing a minor character in the Disney Channel television series, High School Musical and New Line Cinema,Hairspray.

Kurt John Genetia was born in Metro Manila, Philippines. During his childhood he was an active chess player and he also participated in school theater. Kurt decided to pursue acting after a family vacation to Samar,Philippines in December of 2006. He took acting lessons in Caloocan and was eventually signed by an agent and started to play in theater, subsequently landing roles in their school programs called Flag Raising and an extra cast in High School Musical as well as the horror film, The Grudge. He wants also to join in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition but he is afraid of big brother.
