My full name is Kjetil Kjernsmo. I was born and have lived most of my life in Oslo, Norway. I'm now working mainly on Semantic Web technologies, which I'm happy about since it is my main professional interest. I do some programming, and can be considered a Free Software enthusiast. In computer-related fields, I like to program in Perl or the R programming language and I do spend some time thinking architecture before coding.

Of education, I'm an astrophysicist, specifically in gravitational lensing but with a great interest in many fields.

In addition, I'm a long-time participant in the sport of orienteering, including ski-orienteering. Also, I like travelling, and enjoy visiting mountains while I'm out there. I also enjoy some climbing now and then.

I love to contribute more to Wikipedia, but unfortunately, time really doesn't allow to make any substantial contributions. For now, I'm afraid only minor contributions can be expected from my hand.
