Kjell Ove Hauge

Kjell Ove Hauge (born on 20 February 1969) is a retired Norwegian shot putter and discus thrower. He represented Gloppen FIL.
He finished eleventh at the 1997 IAAF World Indoor Championships. In addition he competed at the 1994 European Championships and the 1997 World Championships without reaching the final round. [1] He became Norwegian shot put champion in 1993, 1994, 1996 and 1997 [2]
His personal best in shot put was 20.39 metres, achieved in May 1998 in Eugene. This ranks him fifth among Norwegian shot putters, behind Lars Arvid Nilsen, Georg Andersen, Jan Sagedal and Knut Hjeltnes. [3] His personal best in discus throw was 63.10 metres, achieved in June 1997 in Tønsberg. [4]
In 1998 Hauge admitted to use of anabolic steroid doping, and retired. [5]
