Kix Brooks was a solo album by Kix Brooks, currently one half of the country music duo Brooks & Dunn. It was released in 1989 on Capitol Records (two years before Brooks & Dunn's first single), and later re-issued in 1994 by Liberty Records.
The song "Sacred Ground" was covered by McBride & the Ride on their 1992 album Sacred Ground; McBride & the Ride's version peaked at #2 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks (now Hot Country Songs) charts.
