I am a new Wikipedian (as of February 2007). Bear with me!
I will not be attempting some editing for a while. For now, I'll just provide some feedback and engage some discussions on improving certain articles.
Actually, I just did the editing of the page on the Ernest C. Drury School for the Deaf. My research skill is rusty but I am glad to already make this move.

I have not committed to Wikipedia lately. Someone sent me a message about the deaf-mute debate, but that was a few weeks ago. The last time I was actively a member was last month. Sorry about that!
On deaf-mute: it depends on what intention a person uses for saying it. It's the same way for using the word "deaf" to describe me. My mother used to say "oh, she's deaf" with a tone to imply to the people that I am "incapable" of communicating with them.
