Kitty Hawk is a town located in Dare County, North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 2,991. Hi! Everywhere I read the first flight was in Kitty Hawk. But the hill, where it happened, is located in Kill Devil Hills. So why is not Kill Devil Hills the place of the first flight? Henning Blatt (talk) 22:17, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
