[edit] Galois book

With not enough time at the moment to tease out and add the relevant info to this page, I just added this book by Galois as "further reading". It has quite a bit of information about the early encounters between the Kitkatla and the British (and Spanish), including not only ship logs and journals but collected oral histories. Unfortunately it is ridiculously expensive, but at least some libraries have it. Bits of it are online at Google Books, and the whole 70-some page introduction is online at its UBC Press webpage. Perhaps worth a look for anyone interested in the topic. Pfly (talk) 04:01, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
