[edit] Changes
Noticed that in this Bio Kitiarra's soul is claimed by Lord Soth, but in a Bio about Steel Brightblade, Kitiarra dies in a different manner. I feel that this artical has it correct, but am not sure how to effect change on the Steel Brightblade Article

- To understand what happened, you need to read Legends, Second Generation and Dragons of Summer Flame. If you haven't yet, I won't give spoilers to you. If you have, we can discuss the matter further. -- ReyBrujo 19:04, 12 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Picture
The following site[1] has a picture I would like to use in this article, but, as I've said before, I'm not good with the whole image thing so... if anyone thinks its useful, then tell me and then you can do the whole uploading deal. DoomsDay349 16:40, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- I believe that is a fan art, and there is no information about the copyright status. We should stick with interpretations made by artists, otherwise soon we will be getting galleries about how she looks for every fan ;-) -- ReyBrujo 20:15, 13 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Move
I'm going to move this page to Kitiara uth Matar, as the "uth" in a Solamnic name is supposed to be lowercase. If you want to dispute it, then just say so. DoomsDay349 15:34, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Profile Pic
This profile pic of Kitiara is incorrect. The image is of her son Steel and Sara his foster mother. Sara was a dragonrider for Ariakan before the Chaos war which is why she appears similar to Kitiara. Kitiara dies when steel was around 10 or so.

- Although it's true that Kitiara died when Steel was very young, the woman in that picture looks a LOT like the image of Kit further down the page (same armour, same hairstyle). And although it's been a long time since I've read that book, I believe there was a scene in it where Steel was standing on a mountain speaking with the ghost/memory of his dead mother contemplating which way to go in his life... so I've always assumed that the cover is a depiction of that scene (also, check out the odd foggy blur around her feet... maybe to represent that she's a ghost of some sort?). Maybe when Dragons of the Highlord Skies releases, we'll get a better image of her there we can put up instead. --Maelwys 12:40, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Incomplete Article
Just like to add that in the book "Steel and Stone", Volume 5 of the Meetings Sextet series, the one where she first meets Tanis, It is indicated that Tanis gets her pregnant as well and that she does have the baby in secret. Has there been any official word about that child?
Also, I think it is necessary to indicate that Kitiara seduces men as easily as she fights them. And that Sturm and Tanis aren't the only men she's slept with. It's a very distinct trait of hers. Other female characters all pursue monogamous relationships. Runehawk 16:41, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
- Can you cite a reference on that? (the first part, about another child) It's been a while since I've read through the Meetings, but I certainly don't remember anything about her having a child in it. Or at least, not one that survived... I really need to re-read that book, apparantly. ;-) (edit conflict: damn, you added a heading... I was going to call this section "Baby Daddies" until you conflicted me to add a proper name ;-) ) --Maelwys 16:43, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Kitiarasteel.JPG
Image:Kitiarasteel.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
