Talk:Kiten (program)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
from VfD:
Non-notable piece of software. Unless there's some standing policy about listing everything that comes with KDE (does this come with KDE? isn't that what man pages are for anyway?). --Aponar Kestrel (talk) 01:52, 2004 Sep 27 (UTC)
- Addendum: sorry about the format error earlier. Mea maxima culpa. --Aponar Kestrel (talk) 02:25, 2004 Sep 27 (UTC)
- Keep in some form or another. Notable enough: KDE is a widely-used GUI, and there are 9,480 Google hits for "Kiten KDE" [1]. OTOH, I'm not opposed to a merge/redirect for everything in Category:KDE stubs to something like KDE applications. But this is a job for cleanup, not VfD. • Benc • 03:06, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Wikipedia is not Freshmeat. Not notable enough. --Improv 04:52, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)

- Delete. Sounds like a nice piece of software, but as has been said before, this is not Freshmeat; it would only be "notable" if it was say the learning software for Japanese learners. --Ianb 14:58, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Non-notable software. There are many programs that do this. — Gwalla | Talk 19:04, 27 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Keep the information in some form, preferably a general topic entitled something like kanji software. The only existing topic on the subject, to my knowledge, is Japanese language and computers, which is more techie-oriented. A topic with details on all reasonably popular software in that category would be ideal. LostLeviathan 02:07, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Keep valuable information on notable topics. Guanaco 20:58, 28 Sep 2004 (UTC)
