[edit] Discussion of Versions

I'm going to put together a section about the different R1 versions later this week. Elmer92413 20:00, 3 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Article Name Change

Kite (film) is an inaccurate title as Kite is not a live action film but an anime OVA that is further more a Hentai anime. I suggest either Kite (OVA) or Kite (Hentai). We'd have to leave Kite (film) as a redirect as a number of article point to it or we need to change those articles to point to whatever name it's changed to. If nobody objections I'll be making these changes in about a week Elmer92413 21:32, 4 September 2006 (UTC)

OVA maybe, but marking it as "hentai" is not a good idea- hentai movies are about sex or fetishes; Kite is about neither. Kite is more an action-exploitation anime, focussing mainly on violence. Most versions don't even show Sawa in the nude; the bulk of the movie revolves around her career as an assassin. brain 23:19, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
really? i thought most versions were uncensored (version ive seen shows cenes of rapeandgod knows what o_0) Fethroesforia 00:10, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
it clearly isn't what is suitable for "normal" viewing. but ya, OVA is better than film or hentai, it should carry a big "your head may hurt after watching this" sign too! :x Akinkhoo 15:09, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Kite cover.jpg

Image:Kite cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
