Kite skiing

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kite skiing is a new form of skiing where the pull comes from a kite. It can be done on water, snow or on land.

Kite skiing on snow has not much in common with downhill skiing which is very popular in the alps and on mountains around the world. It's more like cross-country skiing with a pull from the kite.

Kite skiing on water can be done with different kind of skis, therefore it may be compared with water skiing or with wakeboarding. Kite skiing on land uses grass skis or sand skis.
