Kitchen gadget

A kitchen gadget is a hand-held, typically small tool or utensil that is designed to perform a food-related function. While appliances and small appliances are powered by electricity or gas, gadgets are hand-powered. Some gadgets, such as the hand mixer, have corresponding electric appliances, such as the electric mixer.Therfore, Other gadgets, such as the citrus zester, do not have a corresponding appliance, except perhaps at the industrial level, which would be considered an industrial machine.
