Kitchen Bouquet is a browning and seasoning sauce. It can be used as a gravy base.
It is also used by food stylists for a variety of appearance effects, including 'coffee' made by adding a few drops of Kitchen Bouquet to a cup of water[1] and lending a browned appearance to poultry[2].
It is used by a varity of smaller eateries in the south to keep hamburgers that have been cooked from drying out, by keeping a pot of water with Kitchen Bouquet added on the cooler part of the grill and letting the cooked burger soak in it, then when ordered, placed back on the grill a moment and the burger is good to go, my personal opinion it has a burnt taste to it.
