Kitatsuru District, Yamanashi

Kitatsuru (北都留郡; Kitatsuru-gun) is a district located in Yamanashi, Japan.
As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 29,030 and a density of 103.79 persons per km². The total area is 279.71 km².
There are only two villages left in the district.

- February 13, 2005, The town of Uenohara merged with Akiyama Village from Minamitsuru District to become city of Uenohara.
