Kitahiroshima (北広島市 Kitahiroshima-shi?) is a city located in Ishikari, Hokkaidō, Japan.

As of 2008, the city has an estimated population of 60,987 and the density of 512.04 persons per km². The total area is 118.54 km².

The city was founded on September 1, 1996, after the town Hiroshima was reorganized as a city.

It is accessed by routes 36, 274 and the expressway with the interchange in the west. The urban sprawl of the Sapporo area are in the western part which the new part is bypassed.

In 1981, the bypass of route 274 was opened and the bypass of route 36 was opened in 1986.

In 2004, the population reached over 60,000.
