[edit] I shot John Lennon

The comment that playing it backwards sounds like "I shot John Lennon" is removed. The part it references, when played backwards, sounds most like "I dated Yana" - nothing remotely close to "I shot John Lennon". --Kainaw (talk) 19:15, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

Though I do agree with you, I feel that a comment describing the supposed backwards message should be in the article, as a number of people truly believe it to say "I shot John Lennon"; therefore, it seems notable to include. - Ecksem Diem 00:29, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Ecksem, if the belief in that supposed backwards message is so common then I'd expect it to be mentioned in some credible sources. Provide some citations and you'd probably get support for including it. Without that, however, it looks like bad taste OR. Cheers, Ian Rose 07:54, 16 November 2006 (UTC)
I concur. We need a reliable source for this, not a blog. Nandesuka 13:59, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
