Talk:Kisaeng

Any support for moving this to kisaeng? -- Visviva 03:24, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
- All right, I'll do it. I don't have any real problems with moving it back to gisaeng, but I contend that "kisaeng", like "hangul" and "kimchi", has become an established English spelling. -- Visviva 21:11, 24 January 2006 (UTC)
- A quick search in the Merriam-Webster Online dictionary shows that there is an entry for kisaeng in the Merriam-WebsterUnabridged.com . And so this move must be supported.--Endroit 18:03, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Congrats!
Very good revision of the Kisaeng article! I'm impressed!
[edit] In media
There are a number of Korean dramas and movies that feature gisaeng, so there is definitely a call for a section listing those. Right now there is only a reference to Chwihwaseon. 64.172.210.200 23:03, 21 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Problem
The title of this article is wrong. The current transliteration of Korean should follow the revised romanization, which will be Gisaeng, not Kisaeng. Please reconsider about changing the title of this article, all formats should follow the current version. Thank you. Amphitere 17:32, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
