Directed by former parliamentarian Amrit Nahata, Kissa Kursi Ka (Trans: Tale of Throne) was a controversial Hindi movie released in 1977. The film was banned by the Indian Government and all prints were confiscated.

The plot revolved around a corrupt and evil politician, played by Manohar Singh, trying to woo personified public, played by Shabana Azmi.
