[edit] Album Background
After securing a new deal with Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella Records, Jadakiss began recording, with a tentative release date of 3rd to 4th quarter 2008.
"Down South," the album's street single, has already been released. It features fellow D-Block member Sheek Louch and rapper Rick Ross [1].The speculated first mainstream single is titled "Can't Hold Me Back" featuring Akon, and is scheduled to be released Summer 2008[2].
Jay-Z has been reportedly been heavily pushing the album, and will be appearing on a track with Kanye West as well as Jadakiss. Jay has accordingly spoken to Eminem about producing a track for the album.
