She is the granddaughter of mid-twenties superstar Raj Kapoor, and sister of actress Karisma Kapoor. Her family is quite an influential film family, with her great grandfather being Prithviraj Kapoor. One of her uncles is Rishi Kapoor, another great actor. Kapoor has planned to make her debut with Kaho na…pyar hai, but left the project after a few days of filming. She went on to sign many films after Refugee, but none was as successful as producers hoped. Finally, in 2004 her performance in Chameli allowed critics to see Kapoor not only as commercial actress, but one that can hold her own in art films. She was also critically praised for her roles in Dev, Chup Chup Ke, and Omkara. Her recent item number in Don- The Chase Begins was also praised.

Hrithik Roshan

Hrithik Roshan started his acting career as a child artist and extra in films such as Aasha and Aap Ki Deewane. He made his debut as a main hero in Kaho Na…Pyar Hai, which was the highest grossing films in 2000. His next hit would be in 2001 with Kabhi Kushi Kabhi Gham. His worst year was 2002, where all three of his films: Mujhse Dosti Karogi, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, and Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage – flopped at the box office. He was back on top in 2003 with the release of his father’s Koy Mil Gaya. His most brilliant performance was in Lakshya, released in 2004 and his only film that year. In 2006 he played India’s first superhero in the movie Krrish, and starred as a villain in the sequel to Dhoom. Hrithik has already started this year with a huge hit like Jodha Akhbar. Along with Kismat Talkies, Roshan is also working on Sashank, and Delhi 6, all set to release in 2008.
