Kish University, affiliated to the Kish Free Zone Organization, was established in 1996 on the Iranian island of Kish in the Hormozgan Province of Iran in the Persian Gulf.

The main campus of the university spans an area of 112,000 m2, and is located on the north-eastern side of the island, with approximately 5,200 m2 of facilities.

Bona fide students are admitted through All-Iran entrance exams. At present, Kish University has 40 M.S. student and 317 B.Sc. and B.A., students.

The university also offers joint degree programs with Monash University of Australia and Multimedia University in Malaysia.
