Kish gas Fied is a giant gas field close to the Kish Island in Persian Gulf.

It is one of the NIOC Recent Discoveries which was discovered in 2006 and holds 59 Tcf of gas in place of which 45 Tcf is recoverable.[1] The field also holds 946 Million barrels of condensate of which 331 million barrels are recoverable.[2]

The field gas is sweet, it contains 50-80 PPM hydrogen sulphide. The field is believed to be capable of producing 4000 million cubic feet of gas per day.
