[edit] Digits of pi
And how are "13256278887989457651018865901401704640" the correct ninth through forty-sixth digits of pi? Can you source that? -- Denelson83 18:15, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
First of all, User: space pages are not held to the same sourcing standards as Mainspace articles. This in itself should be enough reason not to change his userpage. Second of all, I suggest you either find corroborative reliable sources indicating you are correct, or drop it. Your change was incorrect even according to the Wikipedia Pi article. -- KirinX 18:18, 8 May 2007 (UTC)- I think I must have bad eyes today, the Wikipedia article is different from his userpage. You'd think he would have gotten it from there. Please accept my apologies! (And feel free to revert my reversion of your edit to his page!) -- KirinX 18:24, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and done the reversion for you. -- KirinX 18:27, 8 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Deleting Edit of Bullshit! Article
I fail to see where editing flaws in "facts" presented in a show on what amounts to an ad site on wikipedia violates neutrality. Please refrain from threatening those who know better. Better yet, do some research. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mwasseresq (talk • contribs) 00:10, 9 May 2007 (UTC).
- I fail to see how informing you that you were violating Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy constitutes a threat. Being uncivil is not helping you prove your point either. Since I am not the one who deleted the material in question, I also question why you are being so hostile to me. Please remain civil and assume good faith. -- KirinX 01:08, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Troy Glaus Image
Sorry about the issue with the Troy Glaus image. I guess I just thought that the image took too much away from the infobox, but I should've consulted someone before I deleted it. 74.140.107.97 01:13, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
- LOL it's ok, no harm done overall. That was ages ago though, I had to think hard about when this all happened (if at all). -- KirinX 02:15, 1 July 2007 (UTC)
- I know, it was a while ago -- I was just reading through my talk page earlier today and I thought it wouldn't hurt to resolve the issue. (By the way, I was the guy who posted the above apology; I must've forgotten to log in). Bookworm1 04:00, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] I am not an upload bot but some days, my contributions look that way
Hello. Lately I have been trying to tidy up genus and species articles here and the categories (and galleries) at the commons for the images for them. Today was my first excursion through the bottle fly articles (which I think should be named with their scientific names) and typically, I upload any images that I find in articles that are here to the commons. This image is by all that I know for judging a photograph, a good photograph. The template stopped me from uploading it there -- was that the purpose of it? It was effective if it was.
So, I am wondering what you actually want for these images and I wanted to let you know that I think (at least this one -- I haven't looked at your gallery) that they should be with the others. I personally like your image in the taxobox for Blue bottle fly (Calliphora vomitoria and maybe it is okay for the common name to be used for the articles....) but I also like to be able to use the images in the article to quickly see the other images that are available. So, what to do? -- carol (talk) 04:42, 31 May 2008 (UTC)
