[edit] Your usurpation
You haven't followed the process at Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations#Process. You need to leave {{subst:usurpation requested}} ~~~~ at the user talk of the account you want to usurp, and {{subst:usurp|Name_To_Usurp|Current_Name}} ~~~~ at the bottom of the Wikipedia:Changing username/Usurpations page. --Steve (Stephen) talk 01:50, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
Hey Kiran, as Steve said above, you need to swap the template that you put on User:Kiran's talk page for {{subst:usurpation requested}} and then list your request on the usurpation page. Once you've done that it will take about one week. You should be right if you read through and follow the instructions on the usurpation page, but if you need any further help, feel free to ask again on my talk page. Cheers, Sarah 06:34, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Userp
Hey Kiran, thanks for your message. It was my pleasure to help you with your usurp, Kiran, and I'm happy to hear that it was approved and has all worked out as you hoped. By the way, you know how you mistakenly signed your old name on my talk page, if you type four tildes ~~~~ the software will sign and date the message for you. Also if you look at the line of small image boxes at the top of the edit box when you open a page or section in edit mode, look at the tenth box from the left which looks like this: . If you click on that box at the end of your message, it will automatically insert the tildes for you and when you click to save the page, the software automatically inserts your name and the correct signature. I hope school is going well and best wishes to you and your family, Sarah 14:16, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Images
Hey Kiran, nice name, I like it. ) To upload images to use on Wikipedia, just follow this page [1]. If you want to allow the images to be used on all Wikimedia projects, such as Wikinews, foreign language Wikipedia's etc, you can create an account on commons, which is the shared muulti-media repository for all projects run by the Wikimedia Foundation, and then just upload them there, via this page [2]. Hope that answers your questions, if not, feel free to ask more questions. Sarah 16:47, 7 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Articles you might like to edit, from SuggestBot
SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better -- thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from ForteTuba, SuggestBot's caretaker.
P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- ForteTuba 01:54, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] WikiProject Brisbane
Just a reminder that WikiProject Brisbane needs your help. There have been a number of changes to the project page over recent days and I hope you could spare some time to take a look, be bold and add some touches yourself.
There is plenty that needs to be done to get more Brisbane articles up to FA standard. Please come and discuss this and lets see if we can build up this project.
