all versions of Star Trek, especially anything having to do with the Klingons;

reading science fiction novels and short stories;

and a new interest in the culture, language, and history of Japan, which started when he saw his first anime series, Kimba the White Lion. (His current favorite anime series are Kino's Journey, Cromartie High School, and Devil Lady). He also likes older anime, such as Gatchaman (known in America as G-Force and Battle of the Planets). A new series of DVDs for the live-action comedy/variety show Vermilion Pleasure Night has also piqued his interest.

Henrik has been known to suddenly blurt out the word "SQUIRREL!" at full volume, just to make his friends laugh.
