[edit] merge, npov
Much of this is straight off the Kirkus website or some other Kirkus branded boilerplate. I support the merge nomination, and will happily do it, taking out the NPOV text or rewriting it to POV as necessary. Kirkus Reviews is pretty stubby right now, and could use some of the added info from this page. Deborah-jl Talk 06:04, 22 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cleanup
I did an google and didn't find the material that was at Kirkus so I merged it here. Having just read the above, we need to do some rewrite to clear CV.
[edit] Is this an encyclopedia article or an advertisement?
I am willing to consider it an article if we can wikify it. Without significant enhancements, I suggest that it does not rise from the level of spam to stub. MKoltnow 04:09, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Kirkus Literary Award Was Canceled
References to "The Kirkus Literary Award" should be edited out. The contest was canceled. It hacked off a lot of people, including me. Search the web and you will find plenty of people who are angry about Kirkus taking $150 USD as contest entry fee, but never announcing a winner to their contest.
I actually think that is worthy of mention in the main article (but perhaps that should be left to the US Justice Dept and not Wikipedia.) At the very least, references to the contest should be removed or modified to reflect the current state of the contest.
[edit] Copyvio
I reverted to an older version; the wole second chapter was c&p'ed from [1]. --Janneman 01:25, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
