First, thanks to everyone working on these articles. However, though I read allafrica.com all the time, AllAfrica is a news aggregator, and it is rarely their article, and (more problematic) the stories go to their 'pay' section after a few days - meaning that people reading after a week cannot verify sources. Can we not use them, please? nationmedia.com seems to be in the driving seat for the good refs, but they require (free) registration (I am still applying for mine) - still a bit ugly, but at least useable without paying. Alternatively, I paste a bit of the allafrica text into google with quotes, and sometimes another (free) source comes up. Wizzy 09:56, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Sure, I'll try and do so. In truth, I was trying to diversify the sources to avoid relying on BBC News all the time, but BBC News does have the advantage of being free, requiring no registration, and the stories typically stick around. — Matt Crypto 08:14, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
I'm probably (read: certainly) guilty of using BBC News too much. I just get most of my news from there so reference them when I add something. I agree we should try to reference from a variety of sources, though.--Cherry blossom tree 18:06, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
