Kirk Yuhnke

Kirk Yuhnke is an American TV news anchor and reporter. He works as a morning anchor/reporter at KSTU, Fox 13 News in Salt Lake City.
Yunhke was born in Buffalo, New York and moved to Ohio as a teenager. After graduating from Buckeye High School, in Medina, Ohio, he attended Kent State University, where he majored in broadcast journalism. Yunhke's career began at WNEO, a PBS station, where he worked as a reporter/anchor. With degree in hand, Yuhnke moved to Lansing, where he worked at WSYM-TV. While at WSYM, Yuhnke anchored the station's weekend newscasts. From Lansing Yuhnke moved on to WJRT, ABC 12 News in Flint, MI. He worked there as a weekend morning anchor/reporter. In December of 2006 Yuhnke began working at KSTU, Fox 13 News in Salt Lake City. He currently anchors the morning show, Good Day Utah, from 5am to 6am and reports for the remainder of the morning.
His hobbies include tennis, skiing, jogging and spending time with his wife Katie and their three dogs, Casey, Martin, and Logan. He currently lives in West Jordan, UT.
