[edit] Plot

Chisato Takatsukasa is a novelist who thinks that every guy that gets close to his son, Riju, just wants to take advantage of him because of his cute looks. Chisato is constantly chasing away the friends and potential suitors that Riju brings home. There is only one guy who just refuses to give up: Riju's best friend, Shunsuke Sasaki. Chisato sees Shunsuke only as bad news until it is revealed that it isn't the Shunsuke is not interested in Riju, but Chisato. At first this appears a bad situation, but it is soon revealed that the renowned novelist Shunka Saki, who inspired Chisato's own writing, and for whom he had fallen, is none other than Shunsuke. After some initial hesitation, Chisato concedes that he is in fact in love with Shunsuke through his writing, and they begin seeing one another, despite Chisato's fear of hurting Riju. At the end of the first episode, however, Riju walks in on his father and best friend in bed, and unflinchingly congratulates the two, and walks off after adding that he, also, is attracted to boys, much to Chisato's dismay. The series is still currently in production,

[edit] Characters

  • Chisato Takatsukasa
Chisato is Riju's father. A handsome, young-looking man in his thirties, he attracts much attention from other men, as well as teenage boys. Chisato is extremely protective of Riju, who he is worried will be sexually harassed by other boys (especially Riju's best friend, Shunsuke) because of his cute persona and small size. In the first episode, he actually makes a cake laced with laxatives to get some teenage boys out of the house that he feels threatened by. Ironically, the teenage boys were actually attracted to Chisato himself, rather than Riju. His paranoia is partly caused by his memories of his own sexual harassment in high school by his elder student, Kanzaki.
  • Riju Takatsukasa
Riju is Chisato's teenage son. He is small and feminine, both in looks and in mannerisms. He is best friends with Shunsuke Sakaki. At the end of the first episode, he reveals, much to his father's dismay, that he is interested in other boys.
  • Shunsuke Sakaki
Shunsuke is Riju's best friend. He is a handsome young man, and appears very manly next to the feminine Riju. Shunsuke writes novels under the pen name of Shunka Saki. Though he is detested initially by Chisato, his books were the primary inspirations for Chisato's own writing career. Shunsuke has been in love with Chisato for years, but was always afraid of betraying Riju, until he learns that Chisato is in love with his alter-ego. He is a confident, ambitious teen.
  • Kanzaki
Kanzaki is Shunsuke's father. He went to school with Chisato in high school, but the two were estranged when Kanzaki sexually assaulted the younger Chisato, whom he has fallen in love with over the years.
