Kip Denton is a fictional character in the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street.
He is a doctor at Shortland Street Hospital, who had filled in for Dr. Craig Valentine while he was in Australia. He used to date Craig's girlfriend Alice, but he still has feelings for her and she does too, but they don't want to admit it.
However, both Alice and Kip have moved on, and he is now madly in love with Tania Jeffries, who he is dating, however they broke on Valentine's Day 2008 due to Tania's trust issues.
