[edit] Regarding your recent image contributions
Hi there! I wish to welcome you to Wikipedia and hope you come to understand the lay of the land here. One of those things, however, is that pornographic images should not be uploaded and used in this wiki. Yes, we do cover porn stars and the like, but there is really no reason to use pornographic images to illustrate the articles. Therefore, I have nominated both your images for deletion. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact myself or another Wikipedian. You can contact any Wikipedian through their talk pages or through the Village pump. Good day! -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 02:25, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Regarding the images on your userpage
Hi, please turn the "fair use" images on your user page into a list of links instead or something like that as soon as possible. Wikipedia policy doesn't allow fair use images to be displayed in userspace (see Wikipedia:Fair use#Fair use policy), and acording to this report you have 56 of them on that page (if you have fair use images on other userspace pages please fix those too). I'm working pretty much at random off that list, so don't feel singled out if others on the list with more images have not yet been notified. Eventualy I'll get around to them all (though hopefully I'm not the only one working on it). It might be hard to single out the fair use images in such a big gallery so you can try asking Gmaxwell if he would please run his "fair use detection script" on your userpage and give you a list of the images that need to be removed/turned into links to save you some work. Thanks in advance. --Sherool (talk) 01:19, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
- I notice that you haven't gotten around to following User:Sherool's advice. One of the agreements we make as Wikipedians about the use of our userspace is to not infringe upon copyrights in it. Please remove any image that is under an unfree license from your gallery at User:Kingstonjr. Jkelly 03:23, 14 February 2006 (UTC)

- I have noticed that some of the images on your user page are still fair use images. Please remove these images immediately. They may be removed at anytime by anyone per WP:USER; The other users above and I are simply trying to be courteous. However, given your previous history, we should expect you to be knowledgeable of the policy, and I will remove the fair use images in a few days if you do not. [edit] List of Archeological Discoveries in Bulgaria
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome and appreciate your contributions, such as List of Archeological Discoveries in Bulgaria, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from either web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information, take a look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Happy editing! bogdan 13:47, 25 February 2006 (UTC)

Heh heh. Vagina. Heh heh. Girls have them. I saw Cindy Perlestein's. You did not. Swear to God. It's all hairy. Heh, you said "vagina". What are you, fourteen? Herostratus 21:08, 17 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of sexual records
- Hi, i'm afraid i don't understand your vandalise argument, as for who has the longest 'scholong' it may not be definitive but it is the best record maintained all information is factual though. By the way whilst you posted the notice i was unable to save the changes which were quite substantial, i was wondering if there would be anyway of getting them back?

[edit] Show Preview
I like your edits on the Bulgarian monarch pages. One bit of advice, though, you may want to use the 'Show Preview' option instead of publishing a page a dozen times. It bogs down the system when you update so frequently. It is generally safe to just use show preview and all templates will still work in that mode. Thanks. Keep up the good work!

[edit] Public Domain pictures
Where do you get this Public Domain reasoning?: This file is in the public domain, because "All images, pictures, etc. contained here are gleaned from Usenet, or some other public access archive. We believe all entries to be in the public domain and, therefore, can be used without restriction." feydey 18:24, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
- Even if the site [1] claims that they remove copyrighted material when notified of it; however, they merely do this in an attempt to avoid legal consequences. They still in no way assure that the images are not copyrighted. Please find proper sources for the images or delete the images, also do not use the tag as such (This file is in the public domain, because "All images, pictures, etc. contained here are gleaned from Usenet, or some other public access archive. We believe all entries to be in the public domain and, therefore, can be used without restriction"). Thank You, if unclear please use my TALK page, feydey 19:49, 30 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Vargas2.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Vargas2.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, or ask them at the Image legality questions page. Thank you. Stifle 22:37, 30 March 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:GPN-2001-000009.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. [edit] Uploading pictures
I've noticed that you've uploaded a number of pictures and gone straight to listing them as featured pictures candidates, even before including them in articles. On wikipedia, the criteria for featured pictures require that an image contribute substantially to whatever article it is included in, and fails that criterion automatically if it isn't in any articles. If you'd prefer just to contribute images, and all your images are going to be free, I'd like to recommend that you upload them to the wikimedia commons, where they'll be available for all the projects to use, and will be welcomed regardless of whether they're used in an article. [edit] Fair Use images on your user page
I am removing every fair use image on your user page. It doesn't matter if Wikipedia isn't censored or not, you're still not allowed to have it on your user page. I encourage you to not readd them once I remove them. And furthurmore, please check the licenses of the Images your placing on your user page. If it doesn't have a license, add the appropriate tags or likewise a no source tag. Thank you! DGX 03:59, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

- I have once again removed the fair use images from your user page. Readding them to your user page is blatent disregard to Wikipedia policies and is considered vandalism. If you start readding them, I will start handing out vandalism warnings more seriously. DGX 19:50, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
- I can fix the links if you want me too. I think listing them as external links may have something to do with wy they are not viewing properly. And Images with no sources are not to be on Wikipedia anyways and are put up for deletion if the uploader can't verify the copyright status. With no status, one cannot tell whether or not it is used under fair use or not. DGX 21:53, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
- Your welcome. :-) I'll start fixing those links now. If anymore images are removed, it's probably because it might have a copyright problem or has no source. You may want to get rid of the galleries and just list links instead, but thats up to you. (Listing links may get rid of future warnings about having a fair use image on your page). There are many images that are copyvios, and I would argue that these galleries are in violation of what is permissible on user pages. See Wikipedia:User page. I would sugegst you chose a few pictures to illustrate your point. ≈ jossi ≈ t • @ 00:34, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

- I just saw Jossi's warning to you now. Maybe it would be best if it were links instead of a full gallery of images. I'm sure links are not copyrighted and you could still easily access them by linking them on your user page, so how about it? DGX 01:58, 12 May 2006 (UTC)
- Concur. What I would do is just create a gallery of images that are under Creative Commons, GFDL, or public domain. Now, if you really wanted to have a list of fair use images on your user page, you can simply link to the images themselves, as that isn't a violation of the fair use clause. -- Joe Beaudoin Jr. Think out loud 02:51, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Response
I notice you asked above why the gallery was a copyright violation. It isn't (the gallery), the images in the gallery are copyrighted. Images with the fair use copyright and other images with no sources can be displayed on your user page. To avoid furthur conflict with images on your user page, I am going to make them links, that way, the images can stay on your user page, you can easily access them and your won't get complaints. Thank you! DGX 00:52, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
-
- You have been unresponsive, so I went ahead and did the image links instead. If I get the time later, I will go through every image individually and post them back in gallery formation again. But for now, untill all the images can be accounted for, it should be in this format. DGX 20:19, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry i haven't respoded, I would prefer that the images remain as a gallery, and do not understand why this format is neccesary when alot of the images are not copyrighted, is it really neccesary? Mind if I revert it? Kingstonjr 20:22, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
-
- I prefer you didn't revert until I check all the images and are sure of which one's your allowed to place on your userspace. Thanks! I will readd gallery format to some of the images soon. Also, having all of these Images in gallery format drastically slows down the loading time of your user page, and the less images in gallery format, the faster the loading time. And you'll still have the other images in easy viewing if they were all links. But since some aren't copyrighted and you wish to view them in gallery format I can't stop you. I can only try and stop you from placing copyrighted and no source images on your userspace. Thank you! -- DGX 15:01, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] heat magazine
Hey, regarding your edits in the "heat" article, are you definately sure that it is meant to be capitalised? someone recently chenged them all to lowercase, and when i checked, the cover of the magazine does indeed spell out the title entirely in lowercase letters. Whenever the title is reference inside the magazine it appears to be done all in lowercase. If you don't reply, i'll just assume you agree it's right to change it back. Amo 14:24, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
- Yeah i was wondering that too but eitherway the article title is capitalised so it should really appear how it is in the title, but having done some research it is lowercase on the cover of the magazine so they should be changed i can do that if you haven't already, but we should also request a article title change for further accuracy. [edit] Icelandic bananas
Hello, the claim that Iceland is growing heaps of bananas is wrong and these websites you sorced don't seem to have a clue. There may be a few farmers that keep some banana plants around (probably as a personal hobby rather then for making a living) but a large scale production of bananas in Iceland would be highly impractical. The vast majority of bananas in Iceland are imported and I actually don't remember seeing any other brand but Chiquita and I've worked in an Icelandic supermarket. --Bjarki 21:37, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

If want to continue having it, you'll have to take this to WP:AN because I will not allow you to continue to flawnt around Images with copyright violations and only use Wikipedia for nothing more than that. Regards, — Moe Epsilon 21:54 August 19 '06
-
- I'm serious. If I catch you readding that gallery which is in violation of WP:UP again, I will start handing out warnings for vandalism. Discuss it with an admin on WP:AN before readding. — Moe Epsilon 00:42 August 20 '06
[edit] Images on the Work page
I have linked the following Images (instead of in Gallery formation) the following Images on your Work sub-page:
- Image:RStongue2.jpg
- Image:JanineHabeck.jpg
- Image:TiffanySterling.jpg
- Image:BarbieMurdock.jpg
- Image:RitaGranberry.jpg
- Image:AdriannaKroplewska.jpg
- Image:JenniferTorant.jpg
- Image:0946bp008.jpg
- Image:KristyMorgan.jpg
- Image:Rahn240.jpg
- Image:Bianca Beauchamp.jpg
Since you have apparently been warned about this before, I will give you a final warning about this. Images that are used under a Fair use claim or have otherwise no copyright information whatsoever, can and will be removed from any sub-pages that use a gallery formation. There is a blocking policy that states those who repeatedly post copyrighted or fair use images or content may be subject to a block. Every Image on your sub-page that you and various others besides yourself have added recently were all in violation of this.. I added a message to the top of that sub-page stating that Fair-use Images will be removed if they are added and I expect that you do the same and remove them if you realize if any of them are in violation. If you continue with your addition of Images without looking to see if it's in violation with our Fair Use policy, then it could result in your block. Please keep this in mind. Thanks! — The Future 00:21, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for the compliment
Glad you like my pictures. No, I've never taken one of myself, though of course others have taken them of me. Nothing remotely pornographic, though.--Londoneye 11:01, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Wikipedia:Publicgirluk photo debate
Could you kindly stop making flippant remarks, when this has been, and still seems to be, a very contentious issue. It is not helpful. Tyrenius 17:06, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

- The question seems to be moot anyway. User:Tony Sidaway has taken it upon himself to remove an enormous chunk of posts from the discussion, including remarks by KingstonJr, myself, Theresa Knott, HighInBC, and others. wikipediatrix 18:07, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Australian Cleavage
Thanks for deleting the occasional vandalism to the Cleavage article. It's clear that we both love cleaveage and Australian cleavage in particular. It's a clever term that deserves wider usage.
I've got no problem with enhanced breasts, but that image of 1200cc implants is too much. That's like a 40 oz beer implanted in each breast. And the angle with the face obscured totally depersonalizes it. I really like a lot of the images in your working gallery, although some of those are a little scary too. Although it's hard to tell from it's short length, the long length of the history page shows that a lot of work and compromise has gone into this article. I don't think that compromise should be compromised by extreme images. All of the images of Australian cleavage I've found are subject to copyright protection. Maybe you know of an attractive one that isn't. Also, any day the main photo on the left will be deleted for copyright violation, so perhaps you can find one to take its place.Ghosts&empties 14:08, 25 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User:Kingstonjr/Work Gallery
I've recently suggested that this page could become "compatible with the Wikipedia project" per the userpage guideline. For example, as a refernce for aticles that needed a specific image. Or to indentify images whose copyright status might be in question, or that might be of privacy concern, just a few examples.
If you don't scream, I will start sorting the images into some system. Maybe all heads at the top, then all the neck pictures, etc.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Sophie Dahl Opium.jpg
This file may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading Image:Sophie Dahl Opium.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. When you use a generic fair use tag such as {{fair use}} or {{fair use in|article name}}, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Konst.able 11:46, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I had a look through some of your other uploads and quite a lot of yoru images are missing fair use rationales. Please be aware that since May this year these images can be deleted, so have a read of fair use rationale and be sure you put in fair use rationales.--Konst.able 12:02, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] User page
Your user page is blocked in Saudi Arabia, where I am living currently. Wonder why.. ← ANAS Talk? 20:29, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
- My guess would be that you either have pornographic images in your user page or in a subpage of your user page. Could always be a random block. Many blocks are usually arbitrary in here. Torrentspy, for example, has been blocked and unblocked three times this month, probably for the advertisements. ← ANAS Talk? 12:09, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:One Model Place.JPG)
Thanks for uploading Image:One Model Place.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:Boris3bulgaria1894.jpg
Thank you for uploading Image:Boris3bulgaria1894.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Valentinian T / C 13:03, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
