Hello,
While we welcome contributions from all editors, there are certain guidelines regarding the inclusion of articles. Ideas/projects that one person has worked on, unless reviewed in a reputable publication, generally should not be included. Here's a few guidelines that cover what should and shouldn't be included:
- WP:NOT - What Wikipedia is not
- WP:OR - Wikipedia's No Original Research policy
- WP:V - Wikipedia's Verification policy
- WP:N - Wikipedia's Notability guidelines
Regarding User:Domo1234, he did create an article about a non-notable movie: King Kong II. There was a discussion about it, and it was decided to remove the content and turn the article into a redirect to one of the "real" King Kong movies that in some places used that name. So essentially, though he did create such an article, it did not remain.
I hope this answers your questions. Please let me know if you have any more. --AbsolutDan (talk) 00:43, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Contributions
Welcome back. Yes, you can check any user's contributions. The easiest way to do so is to go to the user's user page or their talk page, then look on the left-hand side under the "toolbar" section (which is below the search bar) for the option "User contributions". Click on that and it will bring you to a list of their contributions.
For the person you requested, here is a list of their contributions: Special:Contributions/Domo1234 --AbsolutDan (talk) 01:03, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] List of firearms
You were very close! In the article you're adding wikilinks to, (List of firearms in video games), the Call of Duty articles have a lowercase "o" in the name. IE: Call of Duty, not "Call Of Duty". Wikipedia is quite picky about this, unfortunately! Here's a link to the changes I made, which appear to have corrected the links: [1]. Let me know if you need any further help. --AbsolutDan (talk) 14:35, 9 September 2006 (UTC)
