Mohd Afiq bin Haji Mohd Asri (age 16, born March 20, 1992), commonly known as kinokaru through the internet, is a Malaysian painter, student and the current moderator of online gallery Btho Artworks. He is also one of the four representatives for Selangor during the 2003 Malaysian National Health Quiz, where Selangor ended up in second place.

Afiq is the son of finance manager Mohd Asri b Mat Ali and quantity surveyor Mazlina bt Ismail. He has three younger siblings, Nur Afiqah, Muhd Adam and Nur Adawiyah. He is the grandson of former headmaster of SK Lubuk Kelubi, Haji Ismail Idris.
He currently attends studies at SMK Bandar Tun Hussein Onn, and is an SMKBTHO standard-level prefect. He was one of SK Batu Sembilan's main candidates for PTS, before PTS was abolished in 2001. He achieved 5A's in his UPSR, 8A's in his PMR, attained Mumtaz-level (excellent) in his PSRA with an average of 91.6%, and now striving for 13A1's in his SPM. However, he never did went to offered boarding schools nor applied to one.
Afiq is a native Malay, speaks in languages Malay and English (sometimes Manglish, too), and capable of speaking in Terengganu dialect. He understands some Japanese and Arabic.
Although academically and co-curricularly active, he is mediocre at sports. All of his achievements so far are intellectual based.

Afiq Asri first learned to draw at the age of 3. At the age of 15, he completed his basic knowledge in painting techniques and begin to paint seriously. He used solely water-based paints, mainly watercolour and poster color. He has never yet done oil-based paintings. His painting styles are Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism, and his favorite techniques is wash (watercolour). He can also draw using pencils, coloured pencils and charcoals, but not entirely good at using pastels. He is a paint-and-draw-only, non-craft type artist. His favorite painters includes Jackson Pollock and local artist Ibrahim Latiff.
His best accomplished paintwork as of the end of 2007 was Reminiscence and Reflected Myth.
In December 2007, fellow artist Ahmad Izz Eizaz Ahmad Sedek recruited 5 members apart of himself, including Afiq, into his newly established online gallery, Btho Artworks. The seventh member of Btho Artworks was invited into the group a week later. They are trained and supervised by Hulu Langat district's Assessment Officer of Visual Arts Education, Mrs Halijah Hamzah. The online gallery was fully operational from South Cheras, Selangor.
As of February 2008, 3 members left South Cheras for further studies, namely Ahmad Izz Eizaz Ahmad Sedek, Fathin Nabilah Mohd Zulkafli and Nur Hafizah Johari. The left-behinds, comprising of Afiq, Mohd Fahmi Maslan, Aqilah Ahmad Sedek and Nurfatin Nadiah Tukiran continued the gallery operations. Afiq acts as the moderator of the gallery.

- Singing
Afiq started singing when he was 8, through nasyid competitions. He participated various nasyid competitions and events, becoming the lead vocal in all participations. Most of them got through the district and states level.
At the age of 13, he started singing solo in competitions and school events. Notable performance includes Sudirman's Warisan.
By 15, he stops singing and concentrates on painting. He still sings as a hobby, but no longer performs for audience. Note that Afiq never knew how to play a music instrument.
- Theatre
On certain occasions, though rare, he performs in school production's dance and plays. He was once given the role of Ryan in SMKBTHO version of We're All in This Together. The troupe had a terrific applause from the audience.
His best notable play was most probably Si Tanggang, where he played the old Nakhoda.

- Anime
He watches a lot of anime, particularly Shakugan no Shana and Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha series.
- Mythology
On certain occasions, Afiq does research on mythologies around the world. Some of them includes Greek mythology, Sumerian, Roman, Chinese, Japanese and Nusantara myths. Ironically, he claimed History to be his most difficult subject next to Additional Mathematics.
- Food and Drinks
Afiq Asri is fond of fried crab and baked tilapia, as well as exotic-to-some local delicacies, such as tempoyak and ikan masin. His favorite drink is honeydew juice. He also consumes chocolate in bulk amount, particularly Fruit and Nut flavor.

Afiq is a heavy haemophobic. However, his phobia has nothing to do with trauma or medical conditions. He is also short-sighted, with his glasses magnification power goes as high as 525 on his left eye and 480 on his right eye. Afiq is 159cm tall and weighs 99lbs.
He mainly is the loud and friendly type; and is not afraid of speaking his mind. Afiq tend to get sensitive and isolates himself when being ignored. He often talks about love relationships. Afiq displays a high contrary of being very mature-minded and extremely childish, switching from one personality to another at times.
He is considered a passionate person, dubbed by his best friends as 'one who has excessive passion for everything,' although not proven true.
